Identity Crisis: Original Identity
As we begin this series in I Corinthians, we first lay the foundation for all that this book will teach us and taught the church at Corinth. When confronting anyone with any particular problem or sin, we can reprove, scold, or correct harshly; or we can like Paul, remind them of how they once were and the greatness that has brought them thus far. It is in this vain that Paul reminds them first off of the abounding Grace of God. It is only by His goodness to us that we can even stand.
