Who We Are?

5 things we’re passionate about:

  1. The Preeminence of God—The Tri-Une God must have first place and first say in our church. We are intent on pleasing Him alone and loving Him with all our heart!
  2. The Power of His Word—We are committed to the practical and yet thorough exposition of the scriptures. His Word is so powerful and we desire for it to be unleashed in our lives.
  3. The Presence of Love—Jesus Christ passionately preached and lived the subject of love. As Paul elucidates in I Corinthians 13, we could do everything right and yet miserably fail if it is not done with the presence of love. Our church must exude the presence of love!
  4. The Priority of Unity—The Scriptures consistently teach the importance of unity. As a church we cannot go forward for Christ if we are not going forward together. We must fight for unity! Sometimes this may require the laying aside of a personal preference for the sake of the unity of the body of Christ.
  5. The Practice of Faith—We are not content to be just ‘hearers of the Word’. We are committed to being doers of the Word. We desire to work together to serve our great Savior individually as well as corporately.

Our Mission

Our mission as a church is to develop "a passion for God and compassion for people". We want to grow in Christ and take care of our people and we want our people to be spiritually reproductive. Our vision is not to become a larger church, but a church with a larger ministry, making a larger difference for Christ in the Lincoln area and on the mission fields around the world.

To do this we must exalt God and His Word. Our worship must be more than a Sunday morning service. It should be a daily living experience.

We must educate and disciple people in God's Word and in His ways.

We must equip each other, building up and strengthening each member so they can use their gifts and abilities which God has given, to minister to others. We must also encourage each other through our gatherings and times of fellowship.

We must evangelize those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!
